Southern Sammy’s is a family-owned food trailer built around simple food done right. We serve smash burgers, fried favorites, and Southern-inspired comfort food with a mix of small-town roots and a modern food truck feel. Everything is made to order, focused on quality, and inspired by the kind of food we grew up loving.
What started as an idea around good food and good people turned into a trailer built for quick lunches, late-night cravings, and hanging out with friends and family. Whether you’re grabbing takeout, ordering delivery, or eating with us at the trailer, Southern Sammy’s is about comfort food, a welcoming atmosphere, and sharing meals that bring people together.

Meet The Family Behind
Southern Sammy’s was created by four people who share a love for great food and hard work and came together to build something as a family. The trailer is run by Dan and Chell Bane, their daughter Kenna Bane, and Sam Garrard, the “Sammy” behind Southern Sammy’s and the chef you’ll see at the trailer day to day.
Dan and Chell Bane are entrepreneurs and the owners of wellness and regenerative medicine clinics including The Aura Clinic and BioCore Health RX. Alongside their medical and business background, Chell also hosts the podcast Beyond the Monsters, where she interviews guests about trauma, survival, mental health, and life experiences, while Kenna handles editing, production, and social media behind the scenes.
Originally from the small town of Savannah, Tennessee, Sam grew up around Southern food and brings that influence into the menu and overall feel of the trailer. Together, the four of them have shaped Southern Sammy’s into something that feels welcoming, laid back, and genuinely local.
At the end of the day, Southern Sammy’s is just homestyle food made by people who care about what they’re serving and the people they’re serving it to.
